Infinite Lives:

At any point during gameplay, press PAUSE. Next press and hold R1, then press U, O, T, D, R, S, and D.

Invincibility:

At any point during gameplay, press PAUSE. Next press and hold R1, then press X, S, D, D, U, D, and R.

Increase Jump:

At any point during gameplay, press PAUSE. Next press and hold R1, then press X, O, U, U, D, R, and R.

Increase Speed:

At any point during gameplay, press PAUSE. Next press and hold R1, then press D, START, R, R, D, U, and START.

Electric Attack:

At any point during gameplay, press PAUSE. Next press and hold R1, then press R, L, R, O, T, R, O, D, and R.

Fire Attack:

At any point during gameplay, press PAUSE. Next press and hold R1, then press X, U, R, U, R, and R.

Ice Attack:

At any point during gameplay, press PAUSE. Next press and hold R1, then press O, O, L, D, O, U, and R.

Secret Codes:

First watch the opening demo through one full cycle. Then, at the the title screen, press and hold (L1+L2+R1+R2), and SELECT. The "Push Start" text will change to "Secret Code" with two letters behind it. The left letter is changed with U or D, the right letter is changed with T or X. Settings are:

          MA - Start stage 2          UT - Start stage 3
          RH - Start stage 4          MK - Start stage 5
          HT - Start stage 6
          CM - Play as small character
          QB - Play as giant character
          MV - Make on screen windows smaller (to activate, durring
               play, on controller two, press any button)
          YI - Start with nine bombs
          TY - Kill with one hit
          SS - 999 seconds of weapon power-up time

Debug Mode:

First watch the opening demo through one full cycle. Then, at the the title screen, press and hold (L1+L2+R1+R2), and SELECT. The "Push Start" text will change to "Secret Code" with two letters behind it. The left letter is changed with U or D, the right letter is changed with T or X. Enter the code "SV", then press START. Durring play, on controller two, the following buttons work as such:

          U  -  Gives you maximum weapon power for 10 seconds
          D  -  Toggles voice mode
          L  -  Changes gunlock type
          R  -  Skips to next stage
          X  -  Increases weapon power-up time by 30 seconds
          T  -  Toggles invincibility
          O  -  Increases bomb reserve
          S  -  Weapon switch for Axel and Ruka
