The Final Word game review
Race for glory in Top Gear II for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Hit the finish line fast and you'll earn the cash you need to customize your racing machine. Choose your engine, tires, transmission, and body panels carefully to give you the boost you need to quench your thirst for victory. Race against the computer or a friend in this two-player racing game.
Ferrari Man
Top Gear is one of my favorite racing games, just for the fun of it. The sequel maintains the fun while adding several more elements, and improving the graphics and sound. A simply incredible racing game, Top Gear II is my current favorite racing game on the market today. I will admit the graphics are not quite as sharp as some of the flashy games out there, but you can't beat the play control of this cart. Once I start to see FX chips in more and more games I am hoping a Top Gear III will be slated for release!!

Hey, they took a great racing game and made it better. The cars and backgrounds are more detailed, Oh, and the fog, rain and snow are great! The music is better than the original. The cars handle decently and if you buy better parts they will handle even better. This sequel is still two-player like the first. This game will no doubt last awhile. Overall, a very good racing game.
R.I.P.
This title is another one of this year's top sequels. This game keeps all of the fun of the first Top Gear while adding a whole new level of challenge. The graphics are excellent; I especially liked the levels with snow and fog. Driving control is about the best in any car game I've played. And of course, the sound is excellent. Top Gear II is top notch with me.
Salamander
Vastly improved over the original, Top Gear II is a very good racing game. While the sound and graphics aren't bad, the play control is what really makes this title. A large number of tracks with a good deal of variety will help keep gamers busy. Solid.
