Get ready to burn up the track in this hot new 3-D polygon racing game for the Super Nintendo. Choose from speed tracks, stunt tracks or head-to-head racing excitement; solve these series to unlock additional racing fun. Five different vehicles and cameo appearances from the Starfox crew add the finishing touches to this dynamic title.

Well, if you didn't guess from my name, racing is my first love. I am a big critic also, however. I have played them all, and expected allot. Does Stunt Race FX deliver? You bet! It took me a second to get used to the controls--this game does not handle like any racing game I've played on any home system. Instead, it handles like a real car. This game is perfect! Every car handles like I think it should. The formula car is perfect, and the monster truck handles as I expected. Once I picked up this game I just couldn't put it down. This is perhaps the most addictive game of all time. I almost missed work because I had to play "1" quick game before I left. Wow! What a rush. If you like racing games--buy it! If you don't like racing games, this is a good one to start out with! Nintendo, you have sold me on the power of the FX chip and polygon rendered games. This game marks the start of a new genre of life-like, perfect handling racing games on all home systems. Nintendo is the leader now, it is time everyone else hurries up and gives some real competition...

Finally the next FX chip game is here! This time your racing with four very goofy vehicles and their Semi-truck Transport. The graphics are more detailed than in the first FX game, Starfox. The music is well orchestrated and fits each track very well. The handling of each vehicle is realistic to the real thing. The tracks are unique and very challenging. This game has new tracks to choose from when you solve the first eight. There are also stunt tracks and when you clear those you can participate in a demolition derby! No doubt the best racing game of its kind on a home system. Oh, by the way watch for special appearances by the Starfox squadron!

R.I.P.
Wow, I kept worrying about this title because all the mags kept doggin' the game, but boy is it great. It's got the some of the most realistic control to date in a driving sim. My favorite vehicle is the motorcycle, which just rocks, period, because of it's all around versatility. Some people may put this title off because it looks "too cartoony" but you owe it to yourself to give this game a fair chance; it will more than impress you. My only complaint (psych) is that first person camera angle from within the vehicle is just too realistic.

Salamander
Another "cute" Nintendo title? Obviously you haven't had your hands on the wheel in Stunt Race FX! This game kicks! The play control is out of this world! The attention to detail is truly superior... in the master tracks (cockpit view) rain not only beads up on your windshield, but the screen becomes properly distorted within each individual droplet of water! The play control may take some time to become accustomed to, but take the time--its worth it! The bonus levels and the motorcycle are a blast too!
