Clay Fighter: Tournament Edition -- Interplay

A new revision to what is quickly becoming a classic, Clay Fighter Tournament Edition provides a witty parody to the head-to-head fighting genre. New modes and revised features and graphics are included in this second edition for the SNES.

Ferrari Man
Well, although I am a bit worn with the Street fighter genre, this game tends to make an exception in my book. It is as hilarious as the first, with smoother graphics and gameplay. If you missed picking up the first one, I highly recommend this one. If you already own the first, I’d rent before buying. Overall a good set of improvements to an already excellent game.

The original Clayfighter was a fun change from the flood of fighting games that came out. Clayfighter TE is basically the first with a facelift. The graphics have been improved a bit. The music and voices are as crazy as the original's. Gameplay is pretty much the same. The game will last as long as the improvements keep you interested. Not bad, but I can wait for Clayfighter 2. If you can't then this will definitely keep you busy.

R.I.P.
I enjoyed playing this a lot, even more than the original Clay Fighter. I think the most notable of the improvements was the play control. The only thing I found I didn't like in this title was the Elvis background. No, I'm not a big Elvis fan, but that background would have been gross no matter who that picture was of. I was really able to get into playing this title and found it quite enjoyable. Also, this game offers a welcome variety in fighting games. Everyone should check this game out at some point.

Salamander
A excellent parody to the SF/MK titles, this new revision of Clay Fighter really puts on a shine. The round-robin tournament mode is great fun, too.
