Wow, I can't believe I missed this game when it was first out. What a great shooter. Even though the densely designed background imagery sometimes makes it hard to see in the later levels, it's not so bad as to be unplayable. Play control is responsive, sound and general graphics are pretty good. Difficulty is middle of the road and should prove a mild challenge to someone who plays the genre a lot. What I really liked was the fairly deep play-area and perspective which sometimes reminded me of Space Harrier.

If you are looking for shooters for your SegaCD then I'd recommend picking this one up over Silpheed any day. I found it fun and had no problem coming back to it over and over again.
