Unquestionably the best version of this title to date, and one of the best 2-D shooters for the PlayStation. No question this version makes the 3DO version look bland, and the graphics are even superiour to the PC version by quite a bit. Sound is quite good, and play control is quite nice. If you are a shooter fan, and you liked any of the other incarnations of this game, you owe it to yourself to move up to this version. Even the cinemas are a vast improvement over earlier versions. Now keep in mind, if you aren't that hot on shooters, you can probably pass this one by with out a second thought... actually if you're even luke warm on shooters you might want to only go so far as to rent this one.
