DarkStalkers -- Capcom

Straight from the arcade to your PlayStation, Capcom's Darkstalkers is the ultimate battle for domination of the eternal night. Enter the battle and choose to control one of ten supernatural fighters, then combat against the likes of the Mummy, Frankenstein, Bigfoot and many others. This title features fierce and brutal combat in over 15,000 frames of hand-drawn animation.

Jester
Take it to the streets in SFII fashion with horror charecters. The likes of vampires, werewolves, demons and other dark warriors. This game marks the beginning of Capcom recycling their SF engine for non-traditional fighters. The results are quite good and this conversion is arcade perfect -- as near as I can tell. Unfortunately, the PS got the original DarkStalkers as opposed to the much superior Night Warriors (DS's sequel -- for the clueless). Still an excellent choice for fans of Street Fighter Alpha thirsting for more.

R.I.P.
Aside from the occasional tiny stutters in the animation durring battles, this game looks pretty much like the arcade. Playcontrol is great, graphics are excellent for a 2-D fighter, and the sound and music are good as well. So far I would have to recommend this way above Street Fighter Alpha, as far as 2-D fighters go. If your a fan of Capcom fighting games, you definately should check this one out.
