Bust-A-Move Pocket -- SNK/Taito

R.I.P.
While Bust-A-Move has always been one of my all-time favorite puzzle games, I'll have to admit that I had always wished for a good portable edition. Now my wish has been answered and this version didn't let me down. The game features three modes of play; "Puzzle" (standard one-player game), "vs-CPU" or "vs-Player" with link cable, and "Survivor" (your standard, no levels... play till you loose the game).

As for "vs. play", well I've never been all that up on vs. modes on puzzle games and I generally spend most of my time on the other modes. I will note that vs. mode in this game is your standard fare though. Nothing to write home about, but a mandatory inclusion. One nice thing to note about this title is that it is fully compatible with both color and non-color NeoGeo Pocket systems, although I can't really imagine playing it without color. It's hard to say much more about this game... everything about it is right on par with other Bust-A-Move titles, and everything that you would expect from the series. If you are a fan and looking for that perfect travel version, go get it now.
