The Final Word game review

Samurai Shodown II -- SNK Corp.

After spending so much time playing all the ports of the first Samurai Shodown, on top of the fact that I never played this title in the arcade, I guess I wasn't expecting to much out of this game. Wow, was I mistaken. This game is a solid package to be sure, and completely changed my opinion of the Neo*Geo as a legitimate home gaming platform. Now all SNK needs to do is get the CD unit out along with games at a reasonable cost and they'll be onto something. Graphics, sound, gameplay, it all comes together in a complete package that is a lot of fun to play. I'd have to say that this is must have fighter for Neo*Geo owners. You'll have to excuse me now, I need to get back to my game...
