Probably the best of the "Great Sports" series, Great Baseball has it's ups and downs. My favorite part of this game is the "Home Run" contest where you get twenty pitches thrown to you and you try to get as many home runs as possible, a good time killer. In standard play though, I didn't like the lack of control over your fielders, or your absolute throwning between basemen (you can't miss a throw), and this takes some of the fun out of playing the field. In batting mode, the only thing here I wasn't to hot on was the player perspective... I prefer to view from the refs point of view, this game has the camera behind, and to the right, of the pitcher.
