Ruiner Pinball -- Atari/High Voltage

The challenge of two multi-screen pinball tables awaits you in this new title from High Voltage. Ruiner Pinball is for play only on the Atari Jaguar.

Ruiner is the type of game I have come to expect from Atari: an embarassment. I could have forgiven the horrendous graphics and awful "music" if it actually played a good game of pinball, however it did not. Ruiner totally sucked.

Ugh... Not the most glorious pinball game I can ever remember playing... In fact I would lump it, quality wise, in with the likes of Crew Ball on the Genesis. The ball handles like cheap plastic, and the graphics were pretty bland. The music, while not enough to make me turn off the sound, was also not enough to endear me to the game... If you're desperate for pinball and all you have is a Jag, you may as well grab this title. But, if you own any of the quality TurboDuo pinball titles, then stick with what you've got... Actually... go pick up a used Turbo system and buy a pinball game on it instead... It would probably be cheaper in the long run, and you'll have more fun.
