The Final Word game review
George Foreman visits the small screen in George Foreman's KO Boxing for the Sega Game Gear. Fight through round after round as the one-and-only George Foreman in this exciting new sports title. After each winning match, choose your own distribution of powerups, including increased strength, an extra super punch, or building up your powerful left uppercut!
Ferrari Man
Not a boxing fan, this game wasn't too exciting. Good graphics and a super punch are nice, but it's way too slow in "slow". However, speed rounds are pretty good. The side view has got to go--as does the intermission of George Foreman eating a burger.
????
Not too much to say about this one. The whole layout of the game is poor. Your boxers are way too slow which slaughters the gameplay. The sound effects are really not worth listening too. I like boxing games but this one is really bad.
R.I.P.
The main thing I don't like about this game is game control--or should I say lack of. Graphics are average and the sound isn't anything to write home about, either. Buzzzzzzz! Wrong--try again, guys.
Salamander
If Foreman boxed in real life like he did in this game, he'd be out of a job. Of course, his digitized opponents don't move too much, either. The sound and graphics are so-so, and the play control is non-existent. While I like the individualized power-up options after each match, the matches themselves just are not well done. If you really want to see George Foreman in action, I suggest buying a poster.
