 The Final Word game review

Chase H.Q. -- Taito

The arcade classic Chase Headquarters now comes home on the Nintendo GameBoy. In this driving simulation/race game, you must chase down evil villians driving exotic sports cars and run them off the road to make the arrest. Many obstacles stand in your way, including tunnels, trees, wrong turns, and other drivers.

Ferrari Man
I'm a big fan of racing (hence my alias) but this was a disappointment. Both the backgrounds and cars are poorly animated and somewhat dull--a black and white screen only emphasizes this. I'd hold out for another title.

????
This is a game that is best to be avoided. The graphics were very sloppy. The sound and music (if you can call it that) were poor and need a lot of work. Game control is only good enough to keep you on the road, and you're lucky if the other cars don't knock you off. I have seen much better games than this. Very poor job, Taito.

R.I.P.
Come on Taito! You can do better than this! This version of Chase H.Q. has got to be the most visually boring game I've seen on the GameBoy. Average game control, blah graphics, and not too exciting sound make this a game I think can be passed up. There are hoards of better driving titles than this out now... check them out instead.

Salamander
Where was that off switch again?
