The Final Word game review
Lean, mean, and totally green, the Battletoads have arrived on the Nintendo GameBoy. So, grab your goggles and be prepared to punch, kick, ride, and jump your way through this fast-paced side-scrolling action title.
Ferrari Man
Once again, I was impressed with a GameBoy cart. Battletoads retains the feel of the NES original. Parallax scrolling was a big plus for this game, as was a solid soundtrack. High marks from me.
????
Follows in the footsteps of the original. The graphics are superb for the GameBoy. Control and sound are awesome as well. This is one of the best games around for the Game boy. It should be seriously considered.
R.I.P.
Battletoads on the GameBoy isn't too bad, I must say. Above average music, cool multi-speed scrolling, and a difficult skill level make this game enjoyable enough to play, but personally if you have an NES 8-bit buy it for that unless you really want it for the road.
Salamander
This game is absolutely nuts! Battletoads on the GameBoy has all the heavy action of the original. The graphics are very well done, and the music is excellent. Battletoads scores big for fast paced action, high challenge, and some of the rudest bad guys around.
