An evil sorceress is out to cause havoc and it is up to you to stop her. Players must take control of a slinky-like character armed with a gun turret in order to defeat her. Race through twelve side-scrolling mazes in this new and unique action game for the Turbo Grafx-16.

At last, an original concept for a game. I'm getting sick of "it's just like Mario... SF II... Sonic...". Sommer Assault is really a new idea. I had tons of fun with this game. One worth playing again and again. How about an extended CD-ROM version?

Originality is definitely prevalent in this game. A slinky with a gun turret is no doubt one of the most interesting characters I have ever seen. With graphics that are clear and plenty of power-ups this game is really fun. Control of your character is limited but still pretty good. This game seems easy until you reach the bosses. Sommer Assault will keep anyone busy. A very innovative game guys! Great work!

R.I.P.
This is definitely one of the most original titles I have seen in quite some time. Good graphics and nice sound make this game enjoyable to play, but I just had trouble getting into the game play. I'm not even sure what you would classify this game as, but be sure to check it out. It's definitely one of a kind.

Hey, wow, something original! Sommer Assault is definitely on my top 10 list for bizarre concepts for a game, but the execution is wonderful! It's a lot of fun. The graphics are crisp and the gameplay is just way out there! Worth taking a look...
