The Final Word game review
R.I.P.
One of the first racing games for the Dreamcast, Speed Devils is a decent game. But, while it is relatively fun to play, later generation games for the system have improved greatly. If all you play is racing games though, or you see this one used or on closeout, it might be worth getting just to drive the gorgeous tracks.
Graphically, this game is great to look at and play. Sound is good as well, but play control needs a little work. If I didn't know better (and I don't), I would almost swear that this game is a earlier version of the game engine used in Suzuki Alstare... But, as I said before, I don't know.
The game is fun, and while I don't think everyone should run out and get it, if you're looking for another racing game or you don't have a lot of cash to spend, check it out.
