The Final Word game review
The latest rendition of the ever-popular Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II Turbo is now available for the 3DO. Enhanced sound, graphics and four new world warriors straight from the arcade accent this one-on-one mother-of-all fighting games.

I had very mixed emotions on this port. The SNES version seems to have more depth and handle better. This version has turned "pastel." The action is just not there. Perhaps the Street Fighter theme has just worn too thin. The animation was smooth, and the sound excellent.

The arcade game at home. Make no mistake, there is no better version available... Amen.
R.I.P.
Definatly not the best incarnation of Super Street Fighter II in my opinion. The graphics overall where excessively bright and cheerful, the music was just a way bit to happy, and dammit that annoing voice (the round caller) has got to go! Get the old voice actor back. Also, once again in a 3DO title I've got a problem with controller options, or lack there of. On a three-button controller, certain moves become undoable, and even on a six-button controller I had problems due to the fact that if you hit certain action buttons simultaniously, the game pauses! Skip this title and go check out one of the other fighting games for the 3DO.

Now, please, is there really such a thing as a bad version of Street Fighter?
