Ferrari Man
WOW! This is the most realistic racing game a home system has ever seen - hands down. The cars handled like a dream, and the graphics are smooth. I loved the full color photos and video describing each car before you chose it, all straight from the magazine. This is a must have for any car buffs out there.

Finally... a game where you get to be the traffic hazard. Yet again another reason I'm glad I forked out the 500 balloons for a 3DO. This is, without a doubt, the most realistic driving sim in existance. Eight dream cars with their own unique handling characteristics race on three beautifully detailed, photo realistic courses that rival Daytona and Ridge Racer... Maybe even Crusin' U.S.A. And it's at home now! I can't describe the realism in this game, not just in the way it looks, but the way it plays. The sensation of speed is true-to-life accurate (I know this because I've been out with Andrah when she's had the hovervan up 135-140 MPH on the outerbelt. Intense, life threatening stuff) and the cars actually feel like they've got four wheels on the road, with varying degrees of traction. A flagship 3DO title.

R.I.P.
Wow! This has got to be the most accurate driving simulation I have ever played. Need For Speed alone justifies the purchase of a 3DO by anyone who is still contemplating it. My only complaint with this game is having to play it on a joypad, a joystick would have really rocked! Graphics, sound, play-control, man this game has it all, and it supports surround sound so before you know it you're emersed in the experiance. If you haven't played this title yet, you've really been depriving yourself.

Salamander
Superior handling and realistic gameplay makes this title a winner. The tracks are well designed, and humorous cinemas add that extra touch. ("Shoulder? Ever hear of the shoulder? Throw out the Driver's Ed manual! If it's flat, you'll drive on it!") Automobile enthusiasts will also enjoy the complete profiles of the vehicles.
