Crash N' Burn -- Crystal Dynamics

Fast cars and plenty of ammunition pack the punch in this action-racing game for the 3DO. Choose from one of several warrior-racers, each with full-motion video profiles, as you blast your way to victory.

Ferrari Man
As an initial pack-in this game is fun. It will not draw people to the 3DO, but it won't turn them away either. The actors in the FMV could use a little training.

Dr. Otto
This is the game that convinced me to buy a 3DO and it is still my favorite racing game ever. 30 tracks (count'em) of non-stop drive and nuke action with more weapons available than any other racing combat game in existance. Six unique cars with different attributes are available, adding to replay value. I've had this game for a year, have beaten it multiple times, and still play it once a week, atleast. I've never gotten bored with it! Rumors are floating that an M2 sequel may be in the cards this fall... I'm on it! You can keep your Ridge Racers and Daytonas... This to me is the pinnacle of racing game design, and the ultimate home game experience.

R.I.P.
I've always believed that a pack-in game for a console system should show off the systems capabilites. Crash N' Burn doesn't let me down in this respect. The graphics are great though the character actors are a little hokey but the music and sound are excellent. Play control... well the steering isn't like your normal driving title and is somewhat remeniscent of Atari's driving games. I didn't mind it, in fact I found it easy to get into and easy to control. This is a game I like to come back to from time to time.

Salamander
Not bad as a pack-in, although I wouldn't have bought it separately. Big guns are always fun, but the driving part needs a little bit of a tune-up.
