The Final Word game review
In Blade Force the 3DO title from Studio 3DO, you are the sole hope for the country of Meggagrid. With the help of your one of a kind HeliPak Suit, you must hunt down criminals and bring them to justice in this 3-D flight/combat game.

What struck me first about Blade Force was the cool intro and the incredibly smooth graphics. A little while later, after experiencing the horribly repetative, hard rock-ish soundtrack, the horrendous targeting system (it is nearly impossible to hit things predictably), and unclear level objectives, I realized that this game was a sheep in wolves' clothing.
R.I.P.
Hmmm... This game is pretty cool looking. The story development is interesting, although it seems to be pretty irrelevant to the gameplay. Graphics are cool, sound is decent as well, but the levels are way to long! I got so bored flying missions in this game that it almost brought tears to my eyes. Also, there's this small problem with missile targeting... being that I have an enemy targeted, fire a missle, just before the missle hits, I drift backwards and loose my crosshair... the missile then doesn't hit it's target. Yeah, you heard right. Missiles pretty much require you to keep your cross hair fixed on the object until impact. This one feature really blows. There's not much else really wrong with the game, and if it wasn't for the excruciating long levels, I would highly recommend this game. Unfortunately, I only recommend this game if you have a tremendous amount of patience and time, to kill.
